This year’s annual Pendleside Hospice car raffle raised £27,000. The cheque was presented to hospice fund-raising manager Mrs Kaye Bartle by sponsors Alderson and Horan and Charter Walk Shopping Centre, John Macadam Garages, Burnley and Pendle Freemasons and Santa’s Pizza.

The car raffle is one of the hospice’s biggest annual fund-raisers and was won this year by Mrs Susan Hornsey from Barrowford who scooped a black Mini First.
