Great care at Royal Blackburn Hospital

I would just like to say that during my mother’s recent and lengthy stay in Blackburn Hospital her care was exceptionally good throughout.

This began when she was first admitted to A&E in a very weary and weak condition.

Dr Matadar and the nurses on A&E were exceptionally kind, considerate and gentle with her.

The good practice I witnessed first hand continued when she was transferred to the assessment unit and later to Ward C3.

There is hardly a day goes by when the public doesn’t hear a negative story concerning the NHS in the media. All I can say is that I personally witnessed excellent and dedicated care over six weeks.

As a family we are very grateful for the care that has undoubtedly extended my mother’s life.
