Pupils help raise £3,800 for doctors' charity
Pupils from Christ the King Primary School joined forces with congregations from Christ the King and St Teresa’s RC Churches to collect the cash for Médecins Sans Frontières over the Christmas period.
The cheque was presented to Dr Reg Kingston on behalf of the organisation, which translates as Doctors Without Borders and offers emergency medical care in more than 60 countries around the world, including the conflict zones of Syria and Yemen.
