'England's premier Foo Fighters tribute band' head to The Grand
Established in 2006 by Grohl lookalike and soundalike, frontman Jay Apperley, the UK Foo Fighters are famed for their electrically empassioned tribute performances to the larger-than-life Seattle original, receiving critical acclaim from publications such as Classic Rock, Rolling Stone, Kerrang and NME.
The band, who sold out gigs in London, Glasgow, Birmingham and Manchester on their last tour, titled ‘Sonic Motorways’ in a play on the Foo Fighters’ album title, the UK Foo Fighters are veritable hit-machines, cranking out classics such as Everlong and Best Of You in what has been described as an ‘unmissable’ show for any Foo Fighters fans.

At the Concorde 2 in Brighton, Foo Fighters’ vocalist Grohl welcomed Apperley onto the stage with the introduction of “Ladies and gentlemen, would you please welcome... me!” before the two frontmen performed together for a stunned and adoring crowd.
The UK Foo Fighters have also stepped in for the original band; when Grohl broke his leg in Gothenburg, the tribute band headlined three charity gigs at Wembley in London and Murrayfield in Edinburgh scheduled to coincide with the gigs the original band missed, raising over £10,000 for Given To Live in the process.
Nationally renowned for their eccentric and representative tribute performances, the UK Foo Fighters offer a unique experience, reeling off classic singles with extra parts and the crowd-favourite sing-along riffs.
