Mark Edward Croasdale, of Taylor Street, pleaded guilty to using threatening behaviour towards Cassie and Jane Croasdale and was remanded on bail for the preparation of a pre-sentence report.

Hide AdMr Graham Tindal (defending) said his client’s niece, Cassie, and sister, Jane, would give a completely different background to the family feud, which had been going on for several weeks.
“He accepts that on this occasion he snapped and made the threats you have heard about,” said Mr Tindal.
“He went towards the door with the plank in his hand, but the door was always between them.
“As soon as his sister said she was going to phone the police he left.”
