LETTER: Hold a Big Bug Hunt for Meningitis UK
Schools, nurseries and clubs have the chance to support Meningitis UK to stamp out a deadly disease which puts the under-fives most at risk.
Nurseries and playgroups in the area can get involved this spring to help educate youngsters and adults about the disease while raising money for vaccine research.

Fun ideas include a sponsored bug hunt, fancy dress, cooking bug cakes and colouring competitions.
Money raised from the Big Bug Hunt will go towards Meningitis UK’s Search 4 A Vaccine Campaign.
There are endless opportunities for learning, whether the children are counting bug’s legs, painting and colouring or searching and exploring. It can also help to reach their Early Years Foundation Stage goals.
