Counting underway in Pendle Council elections
Counting is under way to determine which party will control Pendle Borough Council.
Voters went to the polls yesterday to vote in the council's 17 wards, currently controlled by the Conservatives with 25 councillors, followed by Labour with 15 seats and nine Lib Democrats.
However, Tory control looks vulnerable with only three each of Labour and Lib Dems up for reelection and the Tories defending 11.
