Hide AdIt was a family affair on the pitch as striker Keane went head-to-head with his sibling who was at the heart of the Burnley defence.
Off the pitch, most of the Keane family were dotted around the ground to watch the brothers do battle.
Keane told the Evening Post: “We were both desperate to win and I’m sure Michael hated losing.
“All the family were there, half were in the Preston end and some were in the players lounge – I saw my mum cheering at the end!

After firing through his brother’s legs to score, he added: “I was glad to get my shot off and see it hit the back of the net – I think it went through my brother’s legs on the way.”
