Police arrest man in Burnley Wood alley suspected of going equipped for burglary

The arrest took place in the early hours of this morning when officers located a man acting suspiciously near a back alley in Burnley wood.

He was then seen leaving a back alley carrying a laptop. When officers searched him he was found in possession of numerous flat bladed instruments and tools along with items suspected to be stolen.

He was subsequently arrested for going equipped for theft or burglary.
